All employees are to read the Code of Ethics for Educators and are to adhere to these ten standards of conduct regardless of employment type..

Experience Verification

In addition to reading the above, and completing the employment forms to the right for Employee Orientation, you will be required to submit Experience Verification. You are solely responsible for obtaining previous experience verifications for payroll purposes.  These must be received within 90 days of employment for consideration.

Non-Certified Experience Verification– (All employees other than teachers and administrators)

Experience Orientation

You will need to bring the completed forms listed below with you to your appointment with Human Resources. Your appointment time was included on your Employment Information Welcome Letter.
During your appointment, your paperwork will be reviewed and you will complete the state required fingerprinting by a Human Resource Specialist.

What to bring:

  1. Driver’s License and/or Picture ID
  2. Social Security Card
  3. You will also be fingerprinted at no cost

Also bring the following completed forms:

  1. New Hire Employee Packet 2024
  2. 2024 Federal Withholding
  3. 2024 State Withholding 

Paychecks can be viewed through the Munis Employee Self Service Portal

Two Places to Enroll for Benefits

Employees will be required to attend a benefits meeting to review the plans offered at Troup County Schools. Meetings will be held monthly, generally on the first Tuesday of the month.

Troup County Schools benefits can be enrolled during the Orientation session.
New Hires are encouraged to review the plan information prior to the meeting.

State Health Medical is enrolled directly on the ADP/State Health either through the online Member Portal or phone with Member Services.
New Hires will receive an email from State Health on their Start Date.  New Hires have a 30 day enrollment window to enroll.
